Vintage 18ct Gold Floral Earrings with Topaz Centres

A pretty pair of 18ct gold earrings shaped as a flower and with a pale blue topaz centre. The earrings have 18ct gold  secure hinge back fittings. The earrings date from the early to mid 20th century.

Topaz is the birthstone for November and the gem for 16th wedding anniversaries. Due to its rarity in nature, blue topaz in most commonly obtained by heating and irradiation of colourless topaz.
