Edwardian & Belle Epoque | 1901-1914 |

The Edwardian period started with the reign of King Edward VII and continued until four years after his death - the era also corresponds to the Belle Epoque era of continental Europe.

Jewellery was refined and elegant - intricate filigree patterns were popular as were classical motifs of bows, laurel wreaths and scrolls. Gorgeous pearls and rose cut diamonds set in platinum were considered the height of fashion.
