A gorgeous small-sized Victorian 19k gold figa/hand pendant. The stylised fist has an engraved patteren around the mount.

A figa symbol - in the shape of a hand with the thumb between index and middle fingers - dates back to nearly 8,000 years ago. It is considered in some cultures to be such an obscene gesture that it can act as a talisman that protects from evil.
