Edwardian 15k Gold Egg Pendant with Chrysoprase and split pearls

This rare 15ct gold hollow egg pendant has a matt finish and its base is set with a chrysoprase cabochon. There are three split pearls spaced evenly around the egg each within a star-shaped setting. 

Chrysoprase is an apple green coloured chalcedony quartz with a translucent to opaque quality to it. The colour adds a pop of vibrancy to the pendant.

The pedant looks great paired with a gold chain and worn on its own, or as part of a collection
