1920s 18k Gold and Jet Dormeuse Earrings

A beautiful pair of French dormeuse (sleeper) earrings dating from the 1920s and crafted in 18k gold and jet. The jet is carved with delicate stars.

These earrings have hinge back fittings that go through the ear from the back - they can be a little difficult to get used to but once you get the knack there will not be a problem!
