Vintage 1950s 18ct Cornucopia 1 Lire Coin Pendant

A lovely gold vintage pendant formed from a restrike issue cornucopia 1 lire coin (dated 1954) in a gold mount. This unusual pendant is engraved with "Italiana Repvbblica" and scales on one side and features a cornucopia on the rear.

A cornucopia is a goat's horn overflowing with fruits or flowers and means "horn of plenty" - it symbolises plenty and prosperity 

Coin pendants look fabulous worn individually or as part of a necklace layer
